Sixth, and not a footnote

The midyear list is a traffic report. The Art of Loving landed sixth, 1.309 million units, just under Noah Kahan and just over Drake. Olivia Dean is not the headline of every week. She is in the ten that actually moved the year.
Sixth is easy to skip if you only read the top three. It should not be. A million units in six months is a career number for most singers, and here it did not even win the half.
The photograph is from Baden-Baden in September 2023. Older than the count. The record in the piece is this year's.
