The album of the first half

Luminate counted the first half of 2026 and the top of the pile was not a new surprise. I'm the Problem earned 2.035 million equivalent units in the United States between January 2 and July 2. It has been a No. 1 album before. It spent thirteen weeks there, not all in a row, and it has not left the top 10 since it came out.

The single in the conversation now is "Been By Now." It entered the Hot 100 top 10 in August and was still there in the chart dated September 26, with a peak at No. 2. The album did the year's heavy lifting. The song is what the radio is still on.

The picture is from Charlotte, December 2024, on the song "Love Somebody." Not this single. A night in the city, and a photograph we can run.
