Sixteen weeks in the ten

Ariana Grande opened the summer with a No. 1. "Hate That I Made You Love Me" entered the Hot 100 at the top in June, off the album Petal. The week of September 26 it is still inside the top 10, sixteen weeks into that life. Most singles do not get a season. This one did.

Petal also put a title track into the top 10 in August, for a shorter stay. The album is the thing under both songs. The house is not carrying it. The chart is.

The photograph is from July, Brooklyn, on the Eternal Sunshine tour. That is an older show than Petal. It is still her, and it is a picture the photographer released for use.
